Week 4: Month End Financials

April 29th, 2005

I’m a day late with this update, but I’ve been very busy for the past 2 weeks. This is the end of the first month for me (end of week 4) and I am taken aback by the amount of knowledge and inspiration I’ve received.

Week 3 wore me out since I had been working very hard since inspiration had struck me. However, it didn’t feel like work to me. I was doing something that was fun and exciting. I’m still not finished with the project yet (it’s about 80% complete) and I’m hoping to put the finishing touches on it within the next few days.

Going into week 4, I realized it was time for me to take longer breaks in order to conserve my energy. So for the past week, I’ve been doing the day on/day off deal in the hopes of recharging my battery a little bit. I believe it worked because I’m going into the weekend (yes, I’m well aware that tomorrow is only Friday) feeling a lot better about myself.

I know I said I didn’t plan to go into much detail on the “how’s” of my personal challenge, but I feel that it would be fair to give you financial milestones in the form of month end reports. I will, hopefully, write something a bit more inspirational and informational tomorrow to kick off week 5 (which actually started today for me), but for now, I’ll leave you with my month-end report.

April 1 - April 28
Affiliate sales: $51.20
AdSense earnings: $15.46

Total Earnings: $66.66

Daily Average: $2.38

Woo and hoo - only $97.62 left to go, I think I’m making pretty good progress. And just so you know, these totals are strictly challenge revenue and I do not count any other income from other sources.
